In celebration of Pride Month, RPD is thrilled to have worked with Playboy to produce a collectible variation of their signature bunny ears in support of the LGBTQ community. Digitally printed on a satin fabric, the limited edition bunny ears are a take on the iconic Playboy Bunny Ears — synonymous with one of the most recognisable brands of the 20th and 21st Century.
The ‘Pride Is Good’ campaign aims to raise awareness for the 50 Bills 50 States initiative created by The Trevor Project – a wonderful organisation providing suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youths. Playboy is working with The Trevor Project to commit to end conversion therapy across the United States, which is currently banned in 18 U.S. states.
The designs for the ears are the incredible work of seven queer artists — Seth Bogart, Winston Elliott, Sarah Maxwell, Nina Palomba, C. Finley, Loveis Wise and Favianna Rodriguez. Produced in limited quantities of 500 each, RPD developed, manufactured, and delivered the bunny ears in just 6 weeks – right in time for the New York Pride Parade.
