NotPLA came to RPD to help them further develop their manufacturing processes and equipment. They faced several challenges in the performance of their existing manufacturing equipment and optimisation of both time and waste in the product.

RPD worked with the NotPLA production team to identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiencies. We identified the route cause of these potential inneficiences and issues, then worked to solve them with new machine tools and equipment.

Whilst we can’t disclose the equipment we designed with NotPLA, we can talk about the incredible products they produce. NotPLA’s mission is to remove plastic waste from the world. Their Oohoo product removes the need for plastic liquid containers and sachets with an edible film.
