RPD worked with Charco to evaluate the existing research into vibration patterns that were proven to improve a Parkinson’s patients’ muscle control when applied to the body. We developed multiple prototypes of the device, incorporating the vibration therapy technology as well as integrating various Bluetooth connectivity solutions to give patients greater control of their device.

RPD supported the design of the CUE1 device to develop a truly beautiful piece of wearable technology that considers patients in design and functionality. RPD have since supported the production of additional units for validation trials and testing.
